Team Award In­for­ma­ti­on Pro­fes­sio­nals 2026


Abstract


The Team Award for Information Professionals (TIP) is a young professionals award presented by b.i.t.online, Schweitzer Fachinformationen, and the Conference of Universities and Training Institutions in Library and Information Science (KIBA). The award recognizes three student team projects that make an innovative contribution to finding concrete solutions to issues related to digital transformation and the shaping of the digital society in the professional practice of libraries and information institutions. The project must have been completed no more than one year ago.

The TIP Award was once again announced in 2026. The following student team projects from HU were honored this year:

Ask the Kids! How Children Perceive the Library Space. A project by Henriette Dymke, Line Gugeler, Denis Hill, Michelle Jäke, Jessica Kaya, Angelina Kayan, Yara Kramer, Sarah Krüger, Vivien Larf, Vanessa Magri, Natalia Magdalena Napiontek, Katrin Ockel, Dilem Özer, Miriam Pagel, Alice Schikorra, Anna Schwerdtel, Lilian Aine Seeck, Julia Stützer, Mina Temba, supervised by Prof. Dr. Elke Greifeneder and Dr. Ulla Wimmer (IBI der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin)
