Heisenberg-Professur zum Themenbereich Ernährungssicherheit in Krisen. Schwerpunkte: Ernährungssicherheit und Ernährung; Krisen, Konflikte und humanitäre Katastrophen; Landwirtschaft und Gartenbau; Institutionen; Klimawandel und Hitzeeffekte; Mikrodaten. Ein besonderer Schwerpunkt sind Ökonomie und Verhalten von Haushalten und deren Wohlfahrt in Gegenden, die von gewalttätigen Konflikten, Fragilität und humanitäre Katastrophen betroffen sind, inklusive der Messung von Gewalt und Konflikten in Befragungen von Haushalten sowie die Wirkungsmessung von Programmen in Konfliktgebieten.

Heisenberg-Professorshop in the area of food security in crises. Focal topics: food security and nutrition; crises, conflict and humanirarian emergencies; agriculture and horticulture; institutions; climate change and heat effects; micro data. A focus is on the economics of household behavior and well-being in areas affected by violent conflict, fragility and humanitarian emergencies, including the measurement of violence and conflict in household surveys and the impact evaluation of programs in conflict-affected areas.
