Dynamic Phenomena in Elasticity Problems

The project is devoted to a class of mathematical problems modelling elasticity phenomena arising in physics and the engineering sciences. The aim is a comprehensive rigorous analysis of models based on partial differential equations for rate-type materials.The focus lies on nonlinear elastic problems, such as contact problems, with mathematically challenging nonlinearities.
