Open Access publication: Communication processes in intercultural transdisciplinary research: framework from a group perspective

Abstract

Open Access publication in Sustainability Science. The article develops a theoretical concept ("framework") of transdisciplinary group communication in intercultural research projects. It highlights their importance and influencing factors with a view to the management of intercultural transdisciplinary research. The empirical basis is the German-Chinese collaborative project SURUMER: The experience gained there formed the basis for the development of the theory. In turn, the project was evaluated using this theory from an ex-post perspective.
