Annual conference of the German Genetics Society:
Genome Editing using CRISPR, Berlin, 4th – 6th September 2019

The discovery of the clustered regularly interspersed short palindromic repeats (CRISPR) and CRISPR-associated (Cas) proteins in bacteria and archaea and the successful application of such CRISPR-Cas systems as a tool for genome editing have revolutionized genetic research in the past few years. The CRISPR-Cas research field is extremely fast moving, with heavy impact on biotechnology and society. The aim of the Conference “Genome Editing using CRISPR” is to bring together researchers from basic to applied fields of CRISPR biology to present and discuss the latest advances in the field.
