Digitisation and inclusion - basic questions and conditions for success of an inclusive digital school and instructional development

The Dig*In project provides a theory-based empirical analysis of media-related school and instructional development in inclusive schools. The joint project of the European University of Flensburg and the Humboldt University of Berlin addresses in four subprojects fundamental questions and conditions for success of an inclusive media school and teaching development.
Based on a theoretical model the project links existing approaches of media and inclusive school development as well as media didactics and inclusive didactics. It analyzes school development processes of inclusive schools from the perspective of participating actors and identifies didactic-methodical settings for the successful use of digital media in inclusive classrooms. The project explores possibile design for collaborative learning using a learning platform specifically developed for inclusive teaching. The aim of the project is to provide insights into the conditions for successful inclusive school and instructional development with digital media.
