CRC 1349/1: Controlling Fluorination Reactions by Hydrogen-Bridges in the Coordination Sphere of Au and Pt Complexes (SP A01)

In the subproject A1|Braun, hydrogen bonds in the coordination sphere of gold and platinum complexes will be used to develop hydrofluorination or difluorination reactions with HF sources or XeF2, respectively. The Fluorospecific Interactions will allow controlling the selectivity of the transformations. In model reactions, key-steps of putative catalytic cycles will be studied.
