Nutzung von Energy Harvesting für das sensorbasierte Tiermonitoring; Anbringungssystem, Datenauswertung und Versuchsdurchführung

The aim of the NEsT project is the development and significant improvement of sensor-based energy supply systems for use in livestock farming. This is to be achieved by a combined energy harvesting sensor system adapted to the conditions of the barn. This significantly reduces the greatest weakness of previous sensor systems in livestock farming. The workload for the farmer is reduced without any loss of quality in signal acquisition and the validity of the data. The use of sensor-based systems in livestock farming is absolutely necessary on today's farms in order to detect diseases early and to be able to treat them quickly. This prevents animal losses and prevents secondary diseases.
