Participatory monitoring of the current development of rehabilitation and participation law 2021

The objectives of this interdisciplinary project are normative and empirical analyses of the reform processes initiated by current legislation, especially the Federal Participation Act (BTHG), in the field of rehabilitation and participation of people with disabilities. The aim is to observe and evaluate their conditions, intended and unintended consequences, and to develop proposals for implementation and further developments. In particular, topics relating to the participation in working life of people with disabilities are dealt with. The results will be continuously published during the project period via the internet portal "Discussion Forum Rehabilitation and Participation Law" (www.reha-recht.de). Tasks of the project location HU (Head: Prof.'in Wansing) are mainly the empirical survey and analysis of the implementation of the new regulations by the different actors (politics, administration, institutions and services, people with disabilities) and the identification of supportive and hindering conditions. The core of the project is data collection (quantitative and qualitative) on the topics "Workshop Participation Ordinance (WMVO)", "Budget for Work", "Needs Assessment and Participation Planning".
