Experimental study of the survival of endolithic microorganisms during impact and ejection of Martian meteorites

The aim of the proposed project is to provide an experimental basis for the discussion of ltihopanspermia, the transport of microorganisms between planets by means of meteorites. The experiments will be performed at two different shock pressures (10 and 30 GPa) which are most relevant for Martian meteorites.
