The changing role of agricultural institutions and farming: a collaborative project in Germany and UK

Important changes are occurring in the role of agricultural institutions and farming in Germany and the UK. The project has two main purposes: to review the evolving role of agriculture institutions and farming from a comparative perspective and to consider the opportunities for future research collaboration with the Centre for Rural Economy at the University Newcastle upon Tyne. It is financed with DAAD funds under the British German Academic Research Collaboration Programme (ARC). Exchange of young researchers and joint workshops are planned.
