Design and Management of Integrative Innovation Processes: New Institutional and Regional Coordination Forms for Sustainable Land Management
The aim of ginkoo is the transdiciplinary development of an innovation management model for managing complex innovations processes for sustainable land management solutions by coordinating actors. The model consists of single tools for ex-ante sustainability assessment, acceptance, cooperation and governance, marketing, innovation assessment and knowledge management. These single tools are developed, tested, evaluated and validated in a step-by-step integration process in two case studies. Within the two case studies solutions are developed to provide local solutions for land management challenges important at a global scale. In the biosphere reservation Spreewald a touristic and a decentral energy concept are being developed for sustainable marshland management. The Marktgesellschaft of Naturland farmers, an organic producer organization, develops new coordination forms on the examples of double use chickens breeds for sustainable and ethical chicken production systems and new forms of farm financing between consumption and production.
At Humboldt University the project is coordinated (WP1), new tools for Marketing (WP6) and knowledge management (WP8) are developed.
