Research on the effectiveness of psycho-physiological parameters for electronic identification of the response to test questions with regard to cognitive aspects

The research project aims to improve the field of aptitude testing and minimize subjective sources of error in test and questionnaire construction regarding the issue of self-representation. This context is particularly relevant to selecting staff to fill vacant positions and concerns the veracity and the response of the person tested. Until now, the variable "social desirability" can not be reliably controlled. In test situations, people try to produce a favorable impression on their fellow man by behavior and appearance. It has not yet been possible to develop a valid method for minimizing the confounding "social desirability". The aim, therefore, is to develop an electronic analysis and evaluation system to determine the cognitive and emotional stress. This will capture indirectly the security and sincerity while replying.
