Investigations into remedial O&M-education of blind and low vision children in the special school for visually impaired and in integrated settings

TAPS is an abbreviation of "Teaching Age-appropriate Purposeful Skills". It is an assessment which was developed by specialists of the texas school for the blind to diagnose O&M skills in blind and low vision children. Research questions: Can TAPS also be used to assess O&M skills in seeing children? Are there differences between visually impaired children and seeing children considering O&M skills assessed with TAPS? Are there differences between the frame conditions for remedial O&M education practiced in special schools for visually impaired and in integrated settings? Methods: Enquiry using a questionnaire related to TAPS.
