CRC-TRR 175/1: Subcellular Modelling of Metabolic Acclimation (SP D03)

Plant cold acclimation represents a multigenic process which also involves significant subcellular reallocation of primary and secondary metabolites. We will apply a sophisticated combination of subcellular omics analysis, enzyme activity measurements, mathematical modelling and bioinformatics analysis to reveal the role of chloroplasts in metabolic regulation at the interface between primary and secondary metabolism during cold acclimation in Arabidopsis thaliana.
