Green Climate Oases: Integrated Urban Development in Berlin Marzahn-Hellersdorf

The project “Green Climate Oases: Integrated Urban Development in Berlin Marzahn-Hellersdorf” strives for a “holistic” example, which can serve as a nationwide model for an integrated urban development based on cooperation and participation and flanked by education and public relations work. In the course of a participatory process, a series of measures for the sustainable development of “Green Climate Oases” will be implemented in the Marzahn-Hellersdorf district of Berlin. At the same time, the adaptation capacity of the partners involved is increased by motivating and empowering them to engage in a green, climatefriendly city district. It is to develop a self-sustaining process in which the administration is working with all stakeholders to make the city district fit for climate change. .
