Flexible and Biologically Degradable Electrodes for Long Term Monitoring of Biosignals

The aim of this project is the development of a flexible and absorbable electrode for long-term implants in brain tissue. The underlying problem is an immune reaction against electrode implants in the central nervous system resulting in a loss of function. The method of resolution is based upon a material combination of Chitosan and Graphene.
