Freie Randwertprobleme und Level-Set-Verfahren


The project, which cooperates closely with the FWF SFB F32 "Mathematical Optimization and its Applications in Biomedical Sciences", will pursue three major directions:

(i) Integrated automated regularization parameter choice rules in inverse problems and image processing

(ii) Riemannian optimization for low-rank and sparse tensor decomposition for separating spatial and temporal features

(iii) Contact problems between the epi- and pericardium in the heart
