HU-Institutional Strategy: Senior-Advisor

With the ongoing generational shift, many leading researchers are now approaching retirement. The universities are thus losing valuable expertise in terms of knowledge and experience. The aim of providing funding for Senior Advisors is to allow younger and future researchers at Humboldt-Universität access to benefit from their expertise. Senior Advisors serve as mentors and provide guidance on research projects. They also act as contact persons for community outreach projects, for example in the Humboldt Goes to School initiative.
