Open pit mine via a continuous optimization approach


The Matheon project C34 investigates the impact of a natural reformulation of the dynamic Open Pit Mine Planning problem. This problem was introduced by Professor Andreas Griewank et al. utilizing an approach wich significantly differs from the common point of view and yields crucial advantages compared to the classical problem setting.
