Wild Relatives to Fight Blight: Using Wild Tomato to Enhance the Resistance of Tropical Tomato Cultivars Against Late Blight

Improve farmer income through more environmentally sustainable tomato production. Additional late blight resistance genes from the wild species S. habrochaites are made available to the global tomato breeding community for tomato improvement and farmers and other actors along the tomato value chain adopt tomato cultivars with enhanced late blight resistance.
