HU Institutional Strategy: Tradition and change: mass culture and biographical scripts in the time of the Great Depression in the USA (Funding Line Creating Opportunities)
Biographical patterns, life plans so to speak or life scripts and how they changed during the Great Depression in America through the new mass- and consumer culture are the objects of this research. It is of specific interest how the consumer culture reacted to the crisis.
