The aim of the NEsT project is the development and significant improvement of sensor-based energy supply
Systems for use in livestock farming. This is to be done by a combined adapted to the conditions of the stable
Energy Harvesting sensor system done. Thus, the biggest weakness of previous sensor systems in the
Livestock farming significantly reduced. The workload for the farmer will be lower without sacrificing quality
the signal acquisition and the validity of the data arise. The use of sensor-based systems
in livestock husbandry is imperative in today's operations to detect diseases early and
to treat them quickly. This avoids animal losses and prevents secondary diseases.
