Barrierefreies Assistenzsystem auf der Basis kooperierender Sensornetze

The accessible assistant system is supposed to aid people with disabilities, elderly or foreigners when visiting government agencies in order to enable more independence in their daily lives. The system contains a visitor-terminal, multiple sensors and a smartphone app. Visitors use the terminal to log in to the system, choose their preferred language, fill out forms and state disabilities. The system automatically chooses an appropriate case worker and guides the visitor to the matching destination. The smartphone app features an accessible system for indoor navigation. A variety of different sensors enables the reliable localisation inside the building. Further assistance is provided by door openers, Service terminals, screens and loudspeakers.
